How to Approach Bank for Education Loan? Simple guide for Nursing students to get easy educational loan within two months.

Indian government is helping students to get educational loan for their higher studies. Procedure to get educational will be same for engineering, arts and science, medical, nursing students and others. Nursing students can get loan, if they know proper procedure to approach and produce require documents to bank. Most students don’t know the procedure, struggle to cope with bank rule and regulations. First Step:

Students need to write a request letter to get educational loan from bank. When students give request letter to bank, loan procedure starts, bank manager look up to the request made, and the process is started by giving details about loan and its rules and regulation.

Second Step:

Students need to have list of requirements that should be submitted to bank.

Requirements:

·           12th standard mark certificate

·           Caste certificate

·           Need to show property worth 3 lakhs.

·           Letter from advocate with signature

·           PAN Card

·           Students need to have bank account where they going to get loan. Student need to have individual account and should be joining with parents account. This is needed because your loan is approved at parent guidance.

·           Recommendations letter from higher authority (this may speed up loan procedure)

Documents need to be submitted to Bank:

·           Mark Certificate – 12th standard (Xerox)

·           Aadhar Card – Xerox

·           PAN Card both student and Father (Xerox)

·           Ration Card (Xerox)

·           Caste Certificate (Xerox)

·           Income Certificate

·           Students from Tamil Nadu need to show First graduate proof, to get special preference from government

·           College Letter with principal signature with seal

·           Advocate letter with signature

·           Students from Tamil Nadu need to have Employment Card (Xerox)

·           Passport size photos both Father and Student (20 copies)

·           Bonafide certificate from college (fees structure)

These documents should be submitted to bank, if you don’t have any of these, apply to concern department and get it as soon as possible because without these your application for bank loan won’t be processed.

Third Step:

After submitting required documents to bank, bank will review the documents and hopefully you will get loan within one or two month’s time. Bank will sanction education loan for four years but you will be paid each year fees in demand draft.

Next year, you need to produce first year mark certificate to bank, you will be given second year fee in demand draft and continues for third and fourth year.

Demand draft will be given to students and should be submitted to college, college will drop the DD in their bank account.

Each bank branch can give educational loan for 20 students from same college; other students need to approach nearby bank.

After completing their studies, students will work and earn, from that period they can repay the loan money to bank without interest.
